When technology defines our life and our relationships, isn’t it time to start from the beginning? Shouldn’t we walk to the river source? A journey to the source of dance. ΑΝΩΝΥΜΟ looks back to a time when art wasn’t something created by particular, named individuals, but a practice which brought people—and kept communities—together. It immerses itself in these societies’ dances and modes of expression, which are rooted in human contact, holding, group cohesion and shared joy.

Elefsinian Movement, Part of the Opening Ceremony of 2022 Eleusis on 4th of February 2023
Numerous processions moving simultaneously, like rivers over land, like arteries of the urban body, gradually come together and form a new, large polymorphic body. All the local associations of the city unite in a large chorus that will “flow out” at the point of continuation of the activities in the Opening Ceremony of 2022 Eleusis. As a commemoration of this new emblematic march, a special exhibition-installation about the labour movement will be set up at Elefsina’s coastal zone.
Conversations
A performance that explores the process of creating a painting through a choreographic composition.
The dramaturgical line of the piece is inspired by the work of Yannis Moralis and the way he conversed with the human body during his artistic career. The audience witnesses a process consistent with that of the artistic creation of a work in an artist’s studio.
The performance will be presented at the house – studio of Yannis Moralis in Aegina on 3rd of September 2022 in the context of the 13th Aegina Fistiki Fest.

PHRASIS vs PRAXIS
PHRASIS vs PRAXIS is a series of performative excerpts and installations that explore the body’s relationship to speech, as well as the different interpretations that result from the interaction of these two elements in a space.
What kind of distance exists between thoughts, words and actions?
The experts will be presented on 8th and 9th of July 2022 at Cosmopolis Festival, kavala city with the support of Crea Centres. Amorphy produced this work with the support of Greek ministry of Culture.
SYNTHESIS
Synthesis is a long-durational performative-installation treating the composite concept of Revolution conceived, planned and curated by choreographer Tzeni Argyriou and visual artist Vassilis Gerodimos. The work is a commission by the GNO Alternative Stage and will be presented as part of the tribute to the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution to the GNO Alternative Stage at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on 29, 30 and 31 October 2021. During the three days of the event on the GNO Alternative Stage, audience members will have the possibility to move within the performative installation, follow different approaches from different viewpoints, decide for themselves the length of their stay in the venue, create their own synthesis, and ultimately experience fragments of the Revolution in the here and now. Synthesis is the creative outcome of a composite, collective artistic endeavor – a score involving creatives from the visual and performing arts and the social sciences.

OLYMPIEIO ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE
The upcoming performance «Phrasis», created by choreographer Tzeni Argyriou and Amorphy dance company, will be presented within the program “All of Greece, One Culture” initiated by the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports, as an official selection of the National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (ΕMST). The performance will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2020, 6pm-7pm at Olympieio Archaeological Site.
The performance draws its inspiration and materials from phrases, known or unknown, such as proverbs and ancient sayings, as well as from ancient and contemporary artworks, raising the question of how such condensed information embodied in timeless phrases may be attributed and interpreted today, physically, verbally and vocally.
